Love and Death paired the unlikely couple of John Hurt and Jason Priestley in a warm, witty and wonderful tale of obsession and unrequited love.

The music was also remarkable in it's warmth and depth. The appearance of the luscious breathy trumpet tones of Jon Hassell adds the perfect icing to the cake. And there's some silliness too, with spoof tracks made for the teen movies within the film.

The soundtrack was written by Richard Grassby-Lewis and The Insects, and features Jon Hassell.
